Need Help!

i am getting new struts for my Jetta and i was wanting to lower it just a little bit and i was wondering if i could just get lowering springs and put them on the new struts. or if i had to buy struts that were already lower with the new springs.

Re: Need Help!

I have no experience here, so this is a guess. I expect you need new shorter struts. If you put shorter springs, you would lose some of the travel distance on the strut and it could make for some very jarring bumps. I would expect the springs to be the same size since the travel distance needs to remain the same.
