Everyday cars you'd like to see made into diecast

Well I was browsing today on ebay and I was kinda surprised when I saw this (sadly it's too expensive for me and shipping is too high ) http://cgi.ebay.com/1-18-China-Dongf...QQcmdZViewItem
Sure it is just a Civic you might say, and I know all of us want the diecast of exotic supercars or luxury cars. And yes, I'm sure we do see a lot of Civics on the road everyday but I also see quite many exotics like BMWs, Porsche 911s and Boxsters, Mercedes S Class, Audi A8, and heck, I have even seen a F430 and a Bentley Continental GT once on the road. So basically, what I am saying is, just because a car is seen frequently on the road, doesn't mean there should not be a replica of it. As much as I like the diecast of exotic cars, I certainly wouldn't mind some replicas of some normal everyday cars with good styling like the Civics, and i think these cars will add more variety and make one's collection more interesting.
So, anyway, IF some good dieast companies (i.e. Autoart or Kyosho) somehow decides to make some quality replicas of these kinds of normal, everyday cars I would love to see the following:
06 Accord (sedan & coupe)
06 Civic (sedan & coupe)
06 Acura RL
07 Camry
06 Infiniti G35 Coupe
Now I've listed some of my want-to-see list, it's YOUR turn to post yours...
BTW, I like Hondas if you can't tell already.

I'd love to see any Neons in 1/24, sure there is an SRT-4. But no R/T in blue with white stripes.

So we have a fellow Honda man here? Cool~
Besides Honda, I also like pretty much all other Japanese car brands though... As far as American car goes, I like to see a Mazda (50% Ford here) 3 or 6 made in diecast (yes they already exist but from what I see they arn't that great in quality and are too pricey). The other pure American cars I sort of like, well, are Chevy Corvette and Dodge Viper, but those are hardly normal everyday drivers and have already been made in diecast numerous times by Autoart.

I wished they made one for my car. A 2005 Toyota Camry SE. I have a LE, but I like the SE better.

yeah, same reason here for the Accord... (I drive an 06 Accord LX). BTW, SE or not, it would not matter if one was really made in diecast, because they would have the same(no) performance either way lol

http://www.automedia.com/2002/Chevro...ts20011101cc/1
http://www.allpar.com/neon/neon-srt-4.html
WOW!!! 0-60 in 5.8 secs and faster than both a Boxster S and 350 Z?!?.......... Whoa I knew most American cars are fast but never knew it's (the SRT) that fast!

^The SRT lineups are damn fast. Don't be surprised. The Neon is heck of fast. So is the 300M SRT-8.

Re: Everyday cars you'd like to see made into diecast

yeah, I know a lot of American cars possess a lot of hp, but anytime when a $20,000 car is made in such a way that's capable of outrun high end true sports cars like 350z and the Porsches it's just truly amazing! BTW (isn't the 0-60 time for 350z faster than 5.8 sec though?or not)

I know, I doubt most of what we post here will be produced at all too, but really, when a car is selling almost 400k units consistently year after year in U.S. alone (Camry, Accord, and Civic) I think they do deserve more attention from the model manufacturers. IMO they would sell very well if someone decides to make them (in good quality) and that is what the diecast companies are most concerned about.

It's very unlikely. For any production run to be cost effective they would have to make thousands, if not tens of thousands of models. So, it would be unlikely that they would do it for, say, a group of 100 people.... However, as I posted previously, if some company decides to make them (ie kyosho, Aa, or minichamps) and make them right, IMO they will easily be able sell a good number of them and be able to make a good profit out of them.

Re: Everyday cars you'd like to see made into diecast

Very good thread.

Me personnally, I would love to see a Hyundai Santa Fe, both the 1/18 2001-2006 model or the newer 2007 model in diecast . The dealerships used to sell a promotional 2001 1/18 size version which I did buy one, and there are some sold on ebay but they are 1/24. They use to sell them in the Korean Ebay, but I can't read Korean to place an order.
