Is this a reprogrammed PROM for the ECM, or one of those add-on splice in chips that goes in line near the TPS or IAT sensor?

Never used one, so I don't know. If it was one of those splice in jobs, they are useless. I would see if there is any literature as to what is changed from factory, because you don't want to buy it on ly to find out its a re-labled stock part.
