'92 4 wheel drive

I have a '92 Cherokee 4x4 that I just got. What should I know about using the 4 wheel drive? Do I need to lock the hubs? Can I switch into 4WD while I'm moving or do I need to be stopped?

Cool Re: '92 4 wheel drive

*no need to lock the hubs
*You can shift it while going...from 2wd to 4hi
*I presume you have one with the lever that has this pattern:
2wd ...4wd Hi..N...4L
*you need to stop and put it into N...and then go into 4L (pull hard)
*note of caution..if it is command trac not selec trac, only use 4X4 when ground is wet or on dirt
* do a seach on the forum for more posts
