Rookie needs help.
I am trying to replace my neutral safety switch on my 96 camry. I have already pulled out the switch. I am currently using the PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH TERMINAL GUIDE AND CONTINUITY TABLE from Haynes repair manual. My problem is the diagram on that book shows 10 contact pins however there are only 9 pins on the actual switch. Can anyone direct me how I could test the neutral switch when it is already uninstalled before buying a new replacement part? I appreciate the help!

Re: Rookie needs help.
You might do better with one of the factory manuals you can download at the top of this forum.
