93 jimmy 4x4 no Hi

I'm sure this hasbeen covered in here before, but I couldn't find it. Any how I have a 93 jimmy with a 4.3l cpi. I can't seem to get it to go into 4 hi. I can put it in nuetral and put it in 4 lo though. When I try to put it into 4 hi the light doesn't light up on my switch. No noises from the actuator or anything. It almost seems like there's no power, but 4 lo works just fine. I replaced the little vac valve on the transfer case. All my vac lines seem to be in ok shape. The little actuator thing under the battery looks fine. No tears or anything. I'm not sure what to do or what steps I should take to narrow down the problem. No codes were pulled up on my scanner so I'm at a loss. I don't want to start throwing lots of money replaceing things that don't need to be replaced. I've never had problems with any 4x4 components before, so I'm a little lost on this one. Any help would be appreciated. One more thing. When I replaced the vac valve on top of the transfer case, the little ball bearing was stuck open. Don't know what that means, if anything. Just thought I'd let you all know.

Re: 93 jimmy 4x4 no Hi

Hello fellas. I took the battery out today for 30 minutes. After the wait my 4x4 worked fine. I drove it around for a little while engageing and disengaging the 4 hi. It worked multiple times. I'm not sure if that's a sign of something failing or what. Just thought I would add this.
