2001 Rear window unhinged.

I did a search for this, but didn't come up with anything related directly to my problem. The right side hinge that holds the glass to the tailgate is coming undone and the glass is not aligned properly with the opening in the tail gate. It's sitting a little higher and when I open the tailgate the rubber seal at the top of the glass is rubbing against the top of the truck. The stealer says they come across this now and then and they estimate $900.00 to replace the glass. I talked to an auto window company who also says they've come across this, and they estimate $700.00. Not much better.

I haven't had the time to take a look at this thing myself since I discovered it on Monday, just looking to see if anyone has had this problem and how it got solved. I will post more info after I take a look at it. After it stops raining that is.
