Villiger dies out

I have a 1996 mercury villiger that runs fine but sometimes it completely dies out when im making a left turn at a stop. My check engine light is on so i know there is something wrong. Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or answers to my problem. Thanks

Re: Villiger dies out

Does it stall at or below a certain fuel level ? Auto Zone will pull the engine codes for free, the check light may be related to the stalling.

Any updates. Have you checked your battery connections and condition?
