super chargers

i have a few questions about super charging my 1990 olds. cutlass supreme, it has the stock 3.1 Liter V6,

1. the super i have lined up for it is from a 92' bonneville 3.8 liter V6, is this too much boost for my block to handle?

2. my air conditioner is broken, can i remove this and use the belt space it took up for the super charger? (i would have a cone air filter attached directly to the charger where it is located low to the ground to get "cool air", the old filter would be removed, and then the super would be routed to the intake)

3. what brand of new fuel injecters should i buy?

4.what brand of fuel pump should i buy?

5. where is the brain box in my cars make and model, which chip goes out which new one should go in?

6. what brand of sensors should i buy and what type?

Difficult, I really couldn't answer all the questions. My best advice would be to take it to a good mechanic, and get his/her opinion on it.

The only answer I can give you is about the supercharger.

The supercharger from the Bonneville won't work at all! It'll be a nightmare to get it installed, you'll have to replace most of your sensors, and worst of all your intake manifold may not be able to handle it.

The 3.1 & 3.8 engines were also different in size.

If power is what you're looking for, then get a supercharger off a Grand Prix. The supercharger off the Grand Prix boosted you to 205 HP, and it was made for the 3.1 L engine!

Add a dual exhaust (Easy to do) for another 10 - 15HP

Get a K&N Filter system for another 10-15 HP

Then, replace your plugs, with AC Delco or Bosch platinum plugs. That'll give you another 2-3 HP.

Make sure your intake manifold is nice & clean, use some throttle body cleaner to clean your air intake.

So, you should be able to go from your current 160 HP to 235 HP, and a really nice 0 to 60!
