Escalade instrument cluster?

How well will a Escalade instrument cluster fit in my 2002 GMC sierra Z-71 K1500? The one I'm looking at has an tranny temp guage. I know I don't have that on mine so will it throw a engine code at me or what.

And I want to buy one used. How do I deal with the milage change?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Escalade instrument cluster?

Hey man, yeah you can do this and it would not throw a code. As for miles you would have to get the module reset or manually keep track of any miles you put on the new dash cluster and add that to your old cluster. Also you will have to figure out how to mount it since it is a different size
