Re: jimmy flinstone kits
Well, your typical Jimmy Flintstone kit is a cartoonish slammer with no interior detail, a flat plank for a chassis, and mile-thick resin for the body. Sometimes the bodies have decent detail (the Triclopz custom Tucker, for instance) but many times not.
However, what you've got there isn't a Jimmy Flintstone kit, but a kit by R&R Vacuum Craft. R&R transkits are about industry standard for resin, with some flash and occasional pinholes, but nothing too serious for the seasoned resin builder. They're no Replicas & Miniatures Co. of Maryland or Modelhaus, but a fine company all the same.

Re: jimmy flinstone kits
You can still purchase a bunch of Steve Kohler's (R&R) kits here:
http://resinrealm.net/Star/STARModels.html I just bought a '62 Caddy off him. Turned out great. |
