Girl cars
What is a girl car?
No, I'm not asking for examples. I mean is a "girl car" a car that girls tend to like, or a car that a guy wouldn't drive?

I consider it both a car that a girl would drive, but also a car that a "guy" would drive because the girls like them. Example (
 ): New Beetle, PT Cruiser

hmmm interesting question
with all of the girls that i have found that liked cars have all veried some girls fall into the click of likeing cute little cars and other girls i have found are more into mucle cars, some like the ricers, some perfer 2 wheels and even some like the normal dude in his beater (me) so it all realy depends on the girl and her taste in autos

A few years ago I used to think of some cars as "girly", but not anymore. It's all the matter of taste, not dependent on the gender, IMO.

Jean Lindamood (now Jean Jennings) in Automobile wrote an excellent editorial about "Chick Cars" a few years back. She "did some research" and defined "Chick Cars"...a definition that I think holds some weight to this term.
Chick Cars are defined (by Ms. Jennings) as sporty cars with the less-powerful engine. For example, a Probe GT would not be a Chick Car but the base four-cylinder Probe would be. By the same definition, V6 Mustangs and Camaros would be Chick Cars. THE quintessential Chick Car (and you folks can see this one coming a mile away, I'm sure) is the Volkwagen Cabriolet/Cabrio. If you ever get the chance, read this article.
