Wrangler Leaks When It Rains

I have a 2006 Wrangler and since day 1 it has leaked when it rains. I have taken it to the dealership twice already to fix the problems. The first time they adjusted the doors and the second time they sealed holes in the firewall, replaced the window seals and replaced the seal around the door. AND ITS STILL LEAKING. I just dont get it. What in the world can it be. Yes the drain plugs are in and tight.

Where is it leaking at? Is it leaking down the windshield? Is it just puddling in the pass floorboard? Does it leak while driving or just sitting still?

It leaks while sitting still and no it's not leaking down the windshield. I dont see any visible leaks.

check around the heater box on the upper floor on the passenger side. I have a 97 and mine has always come through there a little even after resealing the box. Matter of fact, its bad enough now that I have to do it again.

This morning, it was raining pretty heavy, when I got in my 97 wrangler and got it moving, water was pouring out on the front passenger side from under the dash. Every time I would hit my brakes, after that, it would dribble water from the same area... I had to pull the floor drain to get the water level down.

is this the same problem you're talking about anotherlurker?
If so do you have to take it in to get it fixed, or what exactly am i sealing off?

I am willing to bet the problem is the windshield gasket between the windshield frame and body. They are notorious for leaking. I lost my radio to leaking water from this point. To check this you need to drop the windshield frame and check the gasket for improper installation and/or deterioration. Silicone RTV will help but the gasket should be replaced if damaged or deteriorated. It could also be rusted metal parts on the body. If it's leaking from the heater blower housing check the drain hose from the cowl vent. Sometimes they get clogged with leaves or other debris and the water overflows into the blower housing.
