RPM "flare" when tranny shifts into OD...

On my 1994 LeSabre, I've noticed the engine RPM flares (momentarily revs up) when the transmission shifts into OD.

It seems more pronounced under light acceleration. If I accelerate more briskly, it does not seem to do it much, if at all.

The tranny seems to work just fine in all other regards.

Any chance changing the tranny fluid and filter will fix this (car has 80K and I don't know the service history, but fluid is not dark or burnt smelling)?

Is there any kind of (band??) adjustment like there used to be on some older trannys?

Are you getting a SES light at any time while driving?

Not uncommon as the o/d clutch pack wears, have it bad in the 98 LTZ 170k and just slightly in the 2003 55k Lesabre.
