2001 Tahoe antenna wire
Anyone had the joy of replacing the antenna wire from the antenna base to the back of the radio.Had a boom truck go through a intersection and pulled down the huge Bellsouth phone line from the poles and landed across the hood and roof breaking off the antenna at the antenna base. The base and antenna wire are one piece and the antenna screws on according to GM parts.Any tips or instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Quote:
If the old wire is still in place, put the new wire at the end of the old wire (cut it before the base, of course) and tape them together. Pull the old one out, and it should pull the new one in.
