car wont move 89 wagon

i have a 89 240 wagon i can put the car in and out of gear without pushing the clutch and the car wont move at all even if i fully let off the clutch.

any ideas on what would be wrong?

I would put the car in gear with the engine off. Try and roll it, if it rolls forwards/backwards. My guess its not going in gear even though the shifter moves around, broken shifter linkage, etc..Normally you won't lose all gears if the tranny goes, and if the clutch goes, normally can't get it in gear, or out of gear.

It seems to be the clutch. I have had the same problem on one car and it was the clutch.
