85 crx e-brake indicator

hello all, I have an 85 crx carbed and the e-brake indicater light is always on. I pulled the console off to clean any garbage that might be stuck but it is still on. Any ideas? Thanks

Check your brake fluid levels, or the wires running to your resiviour. Might be loose or broken.
