1998 Buick Skylark stall,leak,key probs.Good car

Hi I bought my 1998 skylark 5 years ago.I guess I was lucky, because it has 185,000 miles on it.The motor is great, but the body / interior has really taken a beating. My son drives it now.

But I also had the stalling problem and the anti-theft key problem.
My car would stall / cut-off after running for a while. Then it would start and go again for a few days! After several mechanics couldn't fix it,I searched the net and found a forum.Someone with a car like mine had the same problem and replaced the fuel pump.Well, that solved that!

Sometimes my car was hard to start or would shut down after starting. The key was very hard to turn.[I never had a coded key!]
I found a recall on the ignition and that solved that.Occasionally,it is STILL hard to turn but doesnt shut off anymore.

I think my car also has the leak, maybe in the firewall [according to this site forum].

Sometimes it smells like antifreeze but doesnt run hot.

Another issue:I had to replace the intake(?) gasket or whatever it is that makes the radiator water leak out at the gasket. Also on this forum.

All in all,I see all these issues on this forum and it really helps others,I think. My car is a runner [after its all is said and done]

Thanks.Looking at PT Cruisers.Any info?
