i have a 97 yukon wipers only work on high. is this the wiper pulse module or something else. thanks in advance.

Sounds like the wiper motor is kaput!

i was hoping i wouldnt here that. that module is a good bit cheaper

Before you spend any money on a new motor check into recalls. My '96 was covered under a recall. The module developes a crack on the circuit board and the wipers start to act funny.

If it is the module a drop of solder on the circuit board crack usually fixes them.
They usually crack where the power feed goes threw the circuit board.

Also, check your grounds. The motor housings are cast aluminum and where they connect to ground gets corroded. Disassemble them and clean them with sandpaper, etc.
