All-Trac vs. Mazdaspeed 6
So I was at the local car/street racing hang out saturday night. There was a guy with a new mazdaspeed 6 there.. I thought it was a cool car! Well when I decided to go home around 2am or so, he just happened to be leaving also. On the way home we lined up 4 or 5 times.
First race we went from a 40mph roll. We raced to around 85-90mph.. wherever the top of my 3rd gear is. I had just over a car length lead on him. After that he wanted to go from a first gear 20mph roll. He got the jump on me because my turbo doesn't get a chance to spool all the way in 1st gear.. but once I shifted to second I started reeling him in and when i shifted to third I sailed by him pretty easily. Every time we raced it was pretty much the same outcome. The end.

Re: All-Trac vs. Mazdaspeed 6
pretty much expected an outcome like that, thing is (don't know if you read my review on the mazdaspeed 6, which you should) the turbo spools up very quickly but it loses tremendous power at about 5500 rpms and you feel it too, it's like the boost hit limp mode in the mazdaspeed and your left wondering what happened. Good kill though.
