color question

Is the Tamiya gold spray paint the closest color that Im going to be able to find to paint the rims of my Impreza bronze?

If you have a picture of a bronze wheel, that would help, but it's a hard call. It might look alright, but may not represent the color right. What you can do is to use gold as a base color, and coat it with a mix of clear yellow and clear orange. By experimenting the mixing ratio and test spraying, you should be able to find the best match for your desired color.

Tamiya makes a Copper and Dark Copper in their range of XF paints. That might come close to what you're looking for.

thanks for the pic P-Man. I think that Im just going to go with the gold paint. The Impreza is going to be the same color as yours, and the gold paint seems to go well with the car.
