So I had to repair the radiator...
...and do so on a tight budget. I decide with a little encouragement from members here to do it mysalf and save some money. I go to start the car this morning and find the alternator went. Two hours and a tow to my local garage later and I'm $428.00 lighter. So much for saving a little money!

Sorry to hear the unfortunate luck, but if you changed the radiator you certainly could have changed the alternator.
