Question 95 clunking noise and wheel play...

Hi

Well my neon has severe wheel play in the two back tires, if you face the tire and wiggle the tire back and forth there is about 1/8 to 1/4 inch of play on both sides. Tires are new, just installed new wheel bearings and struts. Also has a horrid klunking sound and is worse in the winter when going over bumps.

Anyone have a suggestion?

The car has 145,000 on it and is a sohc sport auto.

Thanks Brian

Re: 95 clunking noise and wheel play...

Found the problem

The rear strut mounts where causing the play, hopefully this will help anyone else out.
