Due respect here, after 18 years it is a crap shoot, the 3 spd trans had issues with the tcc solenoid, it survived this long, take it as it comes.

Not only that Shep but I believe this member is located in Germany.

But my Chevy Z28 made it fine over there when I was stationed there in the service.

Re: What think you about the Buick Century?

I also own a 1988 Buick Century, with the 3,8 L engine. I like it a lot. It is clearly smaller than my 1984 Caprice, but it still look a bit big, which I like. It is very low on fuel, only 0,8 liter/10 km. It is rather quick compared to many other mid-size and full-size american cars from the 80's. I also find the way it stretches forward very pleasing compared to other late 80's family-sedan Buicks. I like its look. That said - it is a bit old to drive 75 km and back 2-5 times a week, so I am into the marked for a mid or late 90's LeSabre or Park Avenue.

Re: What think you about the Buick Century?

I have a 90 with a 3.3, and i drive the sh** out of it (drifting, draging, mud bogin, snow bogin, speeds of 130mph for a prolonged period of time) and it has lasted through all of it, and it still runs great except for the injectors which I will replace this weekend or next.
