Where the hell did Mac go?

When I was at my last dealership, the Mac guy finally talked me into buying his tools, then disappeared two weeks later. Now, five years later I have a pile of broken Mac tools and no Mac dealer. Furthermore, I haven't met a technician in my area (Kansas City) that still has a Mac dealer...What do I do with all these broke-ass tools? Is this happening all over, or is this just in KC? How are they supposed to sell tools if they don't have any trucks out there? Also, who's gonna want to buy their tools if there's not trucks to replace them when they break?

Re: Where the hell did Mac go?

i believe Kobalt is a subsidiary of Mac tools. i would call Kobalt and ask about a Mac tool dealer. or perhaps they'll replace the Mac tools with Kobalt. interesting why the Mac tool dealer ran off.
