You can run a 50 shot pretty easily and stay reliable. A 75 shot is pushing it, and a 100 shot, you better have some damn good internals and a strong engine.

I don't have experience with this, but this is info I have read on other forums and trust the people I got the info from.

50 shot wet. Wet system b/c its safer, less power, but safer to run. Safty first.

Re: nitrous

you can run a 50 to 70 shot all day i did on my 98 just make sure it is a wet kit and youll be fine just run at least 91 92 gas allso you wont lose power on a wet kit if u really wanna feel it go to a direct port

Re: nitrous

Wet is safer! When it is mixed with the fuel, its more stable. I got a ma. in science. Its safer, trust me.

I think a wet kit is better for 100 shot and up, if he is only running a 50 to 75 shot then a dry kit would be fine, don't you think?

Re: nitrous

mmmmmmmmmm, you have me thinking now........5 min later......100shot and up,,,yes...50-75...for a short time. I.E. drag strip or so. but if your using it constently on, let say the highway, no. But if he does use it on the highway constently, heat will be a problem. Nos burns very hot, it can hurt the o2 sencer and kill the cat.-for the constent usage. thats what i think. Do you sir agree? What do you think?

Agreed...as long as it isn't abused, the 50-75 dry shot should be fine. But if someone is going to wanna hit the switch everytime a ricer pulls up next to them, then the wet kit is the safer option for them.

Re: nitrous

dry shot is fine if he is only going to the track and running it, but like you said if he is going to use it everytime he wants to race someone on the highway, with a dry setup he will blow that engine right out threw the hood!!! but a wet will be alot safer to run and will make the engine last alot longer over time because of the fuel added to the Nitrous......

Re: nitrous

Keep in mind the_game_rock, you will be gassing up more with the wet shot because as mentioned, you are adding fuel to the mix.
