2000 S10 O2 Sensor Failing

Ive had a problem with my 2000 S10 4.3 with the Bank 1 upstream O2 Sensor failing. I replaced it twice with the first one lasting about 350 miles. Idont know If the sensor was at fault or I have another Issue. My scan tool is showing on the st and Lt of over 10% on the Bank One sensor. The codes was also showing the 02 sensor fault and 0171 . I cant find any vacum leaks and Fuel pressure is within range. Both times I replaced the sensor the It was black. i dont have any flow charts for this, if any body can Help it would be App.

Cam,

Something is forcing the sensor lean. Two of them probably aren't "bad" simultaneously.

Is the KOEO bias voltage at the sensor connector at least 350mV? Did you check the vacuum fitting on the LH side of the intake, just ahead of and to the left of the throttle body? That connection has 'O' rings where the block meets the intake, and the hoses connected there could also be leaking farther downstream.

Thanks Ive got over 350mv and will check for that vacuum connection. One other thing Ive gotten a 0171 sometimes after I gas up and top off my tank. I would have answered earlier I live in a Remote area in AZ with no Internet Access. Thanks for the help
