McLaren F1 in Andorra
The past weekend I went to Andorra, a small country between Spain and France like Monaco with no tax. I'm there to practice a rally.
The important thing that is my co-driver tell me that in the Porsche dealer of Andorra there are a silver McLaren two years ago. In the same dealer I watch three years ago a white Porsche GT1 road-car. You know anything about this ? Probably is one of the magnesium silver that we don't know nothing. This is my first post but I follow the forum for 3 months more or less and I read much threads in the past pages. Your knowledge is incredible. I'm from Barcelona, Spain. Sorry for my english. |

Re: McLaren F1 in Andorra
Your English is actually very good in my opinion.
It is certainly possible that the story is true. There are plenty of people in that area of the world with money to own an F1 if they wanted one. We have heard there is a red F1 somewhere in Monaco, but a silver one would be new information to me. If you find out anything more, please be sure to share. Hopefully if anyone else looking in here knows they will add to your story. Welcome to the forum too. ![]() >8^) ER |

Re: McLaren F1 in Andorra
Cote-F1, welcome! That was the silver car that was also on display for some time at Nice airport.
BTW, I drove from Madrid to Barcelona a few years ago. I was in a small, rented car, trying to keep up with a bunch of proper cars like M3s, Porsche 911s, etc., and thinking what fun it would be to have a McLaren F1 on that road. It was nice and straight in some places and very windy and curvy in the mountains, with excellent road surface the whole way. I also remember a lot of signs in the shape of a bull--I think it was some beer advertisement? |

I'd heard that 049 was in London.

well on 2003 i also drove from Madrid to Barcelona...on a rented VW GOLF TURBODIESEL 1.9. It was on of the best highways i ever driven on. i reached on the GOLF 217 Km/hour and it was the top speed. Revs on the red lines. I do agree with you on saying that the road was excellent. and also windy. i remember how the Golf wanted to Fly at that speed. Rgds from Colombia |
