cause of the weird differences about the 200/240SX etc. over the world I thaught why not ask Nissan directly so that's what I wrote:
Hi Nissan, I'm from Switzerland/Europe and about to buy a Nissan soon but I have a problem to differentiate the models (180SX, 200SX, 240SX, S13-S15) 'cause the same models have different names in Japan, Europe and US. Can you help and tell(E-Mail: '[email protected]') me which are the corresponding names for the three countries and what engine (I'm a SR20DET enthusiast) they have please? Best regards and theire answer: Dear (Customer Name), Thank you for contacting Nissan North America, Inc. and allowing us the opportunity to be of assistance. We appreciate your great interest in Nissan products. The Nissan 180SX, 200SX, 240SX and S13-15 are all the same vehicle under different names. All of the vehicles have the SR20 engine, the number represent that liters (108 eguals 1.8 liters). If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to e-mail us. Sincerely, Sean National Consumer Affairs I think Sean has no idea about those cars!!!

Here goes: The Japanese 180 SX is the N.A. 240 SX liftback, the 13-14 Silvia coupes are all 240 SX coupes, and the only Silvias with a 200SX designation were the 10-12s. Hope this helps.
