You would see a very minimal gain from it. The whole stock air filter housing and piping is what kills the intake. If you've got the money, then i would suggest getting the SLP Cold Air Intake. It's helps out alot.

Which engine do you have, the 3.4L or the 3.8L.

Re: 95 camaro.......air filter

I liked my '95 w/ the 3800.. A cold air intake and exhaust made a bit of difference on it. I think the full tune-up made more power difference, though..

Re: 95 camaro.......air filter

What does the full tune - up consist of? Will replacing the original plugs and wires make any difference?

Re: 95 camaro.......air filter

Yeah, I would definately go with the SLP cold air intake if I were you. Thats the one I've got. There's none better IMO, and it's well worth the price. A full tune up.. well, depends on who you ask. There's really no exact definition for it. I would assume it would include oil change, spark plugs, plug wires, radiator fluid change, differential fluid change, air filter, and probably some other nick knacks I'm forgetting at the moment.

Re: 95 camaro.......air filter

A full tune-up to me means: If I don't know or can't remember when it was changed/replaced, I do it. And that means everything, bushings, ball joints, bearings, etc. But I'm anal about my cars. I find/fix/replace stuff looong before it goes out. I've got boxes on boxes of parts that may still have 10,000 to 50,000 miles left..I just don't chance it. Can you tell I'm a auto tech?
