Rear blower motor resistor

I have a 2001 tahoe LT with 85K miles on it. The AC/heater fan (rear-3speed) fan doesn't work in the position 1 & 2...but will work on #3.
Someone suggested that it could be blower motor resistor. If it is,where
is it located?

Re: Rear blower motor resistor

The rear resistor pack is located above the right rear wheel well behind all the interior trim. Kind of a pain to get to, but do-able. My '98 Sub has a controller for the rear in the upper forward console. If your Tahoe has the same setup and the fan worked the same from both it would pretty much point to the resistor pack.............Steve
