It depends on what kind of clutch you need. They make them in a lot of different kinds. Like you will often see Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage3, etc.....

The higher the stage, the more powerand torque the clutch can hold. But don't go out and buy a Stage 5 clutch just because it can hold 800hp and 750 lb's of torque. Those clutches are meant for race use only because they will kill your leg on the street. They require a lot more force to push down the clutch pedal and it will not be fun for street use. I would suggest a stage 1-3 for a street car but it depends on how much power you've got also. If your car is stock, then why not get a stage 1 that will work perfectly well and you'll save money. If your not getting anything fancy and your just going to get an aftermarket clutch, then look to pay around 275-325 or so for a stage 1. Most companies only increase their price by about $20 for the next stage up.

As for installation, I have no clue because I'm not a mechanic and I don't have any clue as to what they would charge to install it. If I was to guess then I would guess around 150-250 just because they have to remove the tranny and all to get the clutch in and I'm guessing it wil be about a 2 hour job or so for a professional mechanic. Charges at shops around here usually run about $75 an hour.
