Decal removal.

Has anyone any good tips on removing decals?

The hood decal on my 206 pug has split (it's the red splash one with Total on it), and I'd like to replace it. I'm think I'm having trouble removing it as I had to use Microsol to get it to lay down. I have tried resoaking it in Microsol with no luck and tried pulling it off with masking tape which was partially successful.

Re: Decal removal.

I've used Micro Set to remove decals before without any problems, takes a while though for it to let go.

Re: Decal removal.

i've had some success by soaking the decal/body in warm water.. it takes a few minutes or so, but it did work for me.. good luck..
