How to remove the lower instrument panel??
Trooper/2001
I am trying to install a remote starter and wish to know how to remove the lower instrument panel, drivers side. This panel is directly under the steering column. I can only find one plug that seems to hold the left side of this panel in place. no other visible attaching points. Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark |

Re: How to remove the lower instrument panel??
Hi, sometimes you have to start higher or lower and remove bezels and consoles to get at all the fasteners. I am not familiar with the 2001, but here are some directions that kind of show what I am talking about. maybe you have to remove the bezel around the instrument cluster to access the fasteners holding the lower valence?? Good luck
