d16z6 / d16b2 headswap--completed

sup. i just finished swapping my d16z6 head onto my d15b2. we switched the MPFI about a week ago so we didnt have to do any wiring. we took my 1.5 head off and bolted the d16z6 head on it. make sure you do get a d16z6 timing belt because 1.5 will not work unlike the head, intake, and exhaust gaskets which are all interchangeable. the biggest hurdle was grinding out the distributor. we used the d16z6 4-2-1 exhaust manifold but had to grind off the mounts to clear the oilpan.

anyways..
we get it all put back together, set the timing and i go for a test drive. Im stuck with a CRX HF computer so the rev limiter is 5400rpm I have no rpm activated switch or VTEC controller so it'll have to wait a while until i can get a better computer atleast.

Ima try to get some pictures tomorrow but i work a lot so it might not be until this weekend. We are gonna swap the block in this weekend as well so it will complete the swap.

sorry to rattle on, just thought i'd like to share.
