Vibration in driver side door (bass induced)
i wondered why the stereo had the bass turned completely off when i bought the car...and i found the answer today. the door panel must be loose some where because everytime there's bass from the stock speakers it vibrates.
this is a huge annoyance to me and i must fix it asap. does anyone have experience with a problem like this? should i take it in to get fixed or is there a simple solution for a beginner like me? edit: there is a spot that if i press hard against the vibration is gone. it's not a blown speaker |

my vibration is definitely coming from the door panel itself, but i'd still like to hear how they fix your vibration. just so i have an idea of how one would go about fixing a problem like this.

Re: Vibration in driver side door (bass induced)
i was directed to this link
http://www.mmxpress.com/technical/sound_proofing.htm by someone on another forum. although i think most of these solutions, if not all, are too extreme for my problem. my stereo system is stock, which shouldn't be nearly strong enough to cause such a significan vibration. |

Re: Vibration in driver side door (bass induced)
My vibration was also caused by the lock..Take ur door panel off and check the area that you press to relieve the issue.
