Bad rattling noise in 95 Sable

Car sounds like i'm dragging 20 cans (Really loud rattling noise) whenever I'm in drive, reverse, or park. I dunno whether its the transmission or the muffler. Car still drives fine so I'm still not sure. Car has about 78,000 miles on it now.

Check to see if the main cat needs to be replaced. Do it quickly, 8 year/80,000 mile warranty.

Check to make sure that the heat shield above the catalitic convertor didn't come loose. If it did just pull it off. Sometimes they break loose because of rust.
