I need ref. material for Countach 5000QV!

I have recently purchased the Fujimi Enthusiast Series Lamborghini Countach 5000QV (reboxed by Testors) and am completely devoid of reference material, despite numerous searches on Google. I hoped that someone here would have some useful information for me. My primary concerns are:
  • Oil system. I can find the pump and filter, but where is the tank, and how are all the hoses routed?
  • Cooling system. Radiator pipes/hoses are easy, but what about heater hoses? And where does that pipe go from the front side of the right radiator?
  • A/C system. The engine bay part is easy (two lines from the compressor), but up front, in the luggage comp., I don't know the routing. Where is the condenser?
  • Wiring. How are the harnesses routed, and what parts are electrical (other than the alternator, starter, and battery).
If anybody around here has information like this that they could post as an image or something, or at least describe it, I would be extremely grateful. I'm a detail nut and won't rest until I can properly detail this complicated model.
Thanks.

Not sure if this will help but I collect pics of Lambo's when I get the nerver to work on one of my Enthusiast kits.
Check out my Lamborghini picture link and make sure to check them out. I think you'll find the picture you need.

Good luck indeed. The kind of info you're looking for is really availible only in maintainence/repair manuals. If you were building a Ferrari, I'd recommend finding an owner's manual. Ferrari is pretty unique in that it includes this kind of stuff, but I don't know about Lambo manuals.

Unless you get really lucky, collecting this kind of info usually requires a huge amount of effort, and often some money too.

Welcome to AF!

Re: I need ref. material for Countach 5000QV!

Thanks guys. Chris, your pictures were somewhat helpful. Unfortunately, there were no European-spec Countach 5000QV shots, but those trunk pictures from the LP400S will help a bunch up front. MPWR, I knew Lambo manuals would be expensive. I figure that if I have to spend more than 50 bucks in supplies and reference material, the model isn't worth it. Actually, more like 30 bucks. Anyway, if anyone else has anything that might help, I'm still looking. I probably won't get to this kit for a few years anyhow, considering how long it's been taking me to finish the ones I've started Thanks for your response.

Once I figure out digital photography and putting it on the computer, I'll start posting threads of my various builds (most of which have escalated into massive, complicated ordeals that take months to resolve).
Alex
