Unhappy Help

Ok put my hotshot on and having some problems. One. All electrical componets except the headlights don't work for some reason...more so when the engine header is hot... Two Brake Light and Battery Light stay on....i'm like what the F*#k? Is this cuase the header is making the alternator to damned hot???plus theres some kind of funky ticking in the box type things that sit above the header(two black boxes) any suggestions..i'm thinking it due to the tempeture...Any advice or help or anybody have any fixes...I'm bummed....Ohhh yeah the header fits like a glove gives nice power gains and the and i got it for 350 through APEX-R motorsports here in Tucson it was like 400 with shipping..not to bad though....please help

First off look for a short. Most likely you will see a wire with burned or melted insulation. Take a close look at the O2 sensor wires. Check your alternator wiring harness - especially the ground. I suspect if it's not a short, it's a loose harness connection.

I cannot imagine the header causing the alternator to fail because of the additional heat. That would be a first that I've heard of on an SR20DE.
