wrecked 2000 Elantra, years parts exchangable

My 2000 Elantra is pretty damamaged, the whole front end. Does anyone know where I can find a list of exchangable parts from previous years while I am looking at the junkyards?

Well, I don't know of any lists, but I'm pretty sure almost everything (if not everything) was the same from 96-2000. I've pulled a few parts off a '97 at a junkyard to put on my '99.

There are a lot of things that are different between the years. '96 to '00 were all pretty much the same, but '99 and '00 are sometimes the only years that interchange. As far as front bumper cover. If you have a GL, '96-'00 are all the same. If you have a GLS, only '99 and '00 will interchange. The front bumper absorber, reinforcement, and brackets are different. Only '99 and '00 will interchange. Headlights are the same b/t '99 and '00. Hoods are the same for '99 and '00. Same with fenders and fender liners, core support, aprongs, etc. . .Radiators are the same for production of 2/17/97 up till '00 for auto trans. All manual trans from '96-'00 are the same. And wagons are also all the same. All A/C condensers are the same for '96-'00. That should get you started. If you need to go any deeper into the car, it wouldn't be worth it to fix.

Try uneedapart.com, tell them what you want, they will notify the junk yards for you. You will get contacted with offers. So far i've gottem MAF sensor, right power mirror complete, etc..
All for $25 each delivered. But it will only work with small/light parts
