2+ litre engines...

ok, Im thinking of getting a 3G teg, and I definatly want to swap in a 2+ litre engine, but Im not sure which one.....

I'm leaning towards B20, but I dont have any problems with D, F, or H series engines.

anyways, I wanted to just generally get some info on the H22, F22, and B20 engines, especially boreXstroke, cause Im a big engine dynamics guy, and the only reason Im interested in hondas is cause a friend of mine shook the idea into my head that not all honda owners are RiCeRs, yO!

B20A JDM 86-89 accord Si 160hp @ 6300 140ft/lbs. @ 5000 3.19in.x3.74in. 9.4 comp.
B20A5 USDM 88-91 prelude Si 135hp @ 5800 125 ft/lbs. @ 4000 3.19in.x3.74in. 9.2 comp.
B20A3 USDM 88-89 prelude S carb 104hp @ 5800 111 ft/lbs. @ 4000 3.19in.x3.74in. 9.1 comp.
B20B USDM 97-98 CRV 126hp @ 5400 122ft/lbs. @ 4300 3.35in.x3.46in. 8.8 comp.
B20Z USDM 99-01 CRV 146hp @ 6200 133ft/lbs. @ 4500 3.31in.x3.5in. 9.6 comp.
The new CRV comes with the K24 nice size 4 banger but however, it's just like the F20C and the other K-series it spins the other direction compared to the old honda motors.

where did you get these specs on the B20A? did they only come in the accords or where they also in preludes? Im curious because i just bought a B20A for my prelude and I was told it only had 140hp and 135LBFT of torque.

The JDM B20A came form the 3gen accord and 2nd gen prelude. You can tell the JDM B20A from the other B20Ax because it leans forward.

Here's a good site to check out other HONDA engines [url=http://www.honda.co.jp/search/]

Sorry about that. You kinda have to figure out what it means by just looking at the numbers. If you compare it to the US version you can kinda figure it out alittle.
