oh boy- i messed up big time
today was my 21st b-day so i had a little to much to drink, so i decided since i got new 300cc injectors for my 92 gs w/ 4g63nt (daily driver) to install them. Well everything was going good untill i was putting the rail back on. I ended up snapping my fuel rail bolt on the side of the in-fuel line. Am i sh1t out of luck or is there some way to fix this with out having to pull the head? I have it installed rite now i have 8lbs on the other 2 bolts, (haynes calls for 4-5lbs) and i have no leaks on the end injector at the rail but its only a matter of time. So if i do need to pull the head can i just throw on a extra turbo head i got or will it mess on my car since the intake cam is bigger?
please help im S.O.L. |

Re: oh boy- i messed up big time
I think the only bolts I ever *remember* to torque correctly are my lugnuts, the rest just get the "tight enough".
