Pic request:- Will some one please take some pics of the diffuser induction fans, they are located each side at the top of the fuel tank bulhead, just under the bulkhead windows. (Thats if a car has its engine compartment cover open!)

These are the fans that draw air from under the car, for partial
ground effect. The air flows via ducting through the luggage bay area up over the electrics on one side, oil tank on the other. (pos ecu,s?) Then through the fans into the engine bay, for extra cooling.

Since Chris handled my somewhat comical request for a photo of the fuel filler pipe using chassis #040 I'll be sure to try and take care of this for you.

Also, I haven't gotten confirmation, but the new owner of #036 was also planning to try to get his car to Monterey this year so there may be a total of 3 F1s running around up there.

Here's 016, got the pics a bit earlier thanks to the Pebble Beach Media Center, who's to argue with free food, drinks, internet and a comfortable environment! (And media access)

It was sitting next to the owner's other cars which were running, and from what I understood it was actually being used as a "transport" car between the hotel and event. An accompanying lady was offered a ride back to their hotel, also said something like "you had the red one last year". Any help with that?

The owner of the red one was Clifford Meltzer, but I'd be surprised if he purchased a new one. I'd think we would have heard about that from a few of the local sources.
