Exclamation 93 nx 2000

i just found a 93 nx 2000 with 171000 miles on it. car looks untouched and i was wanting to know how good are the engines and if it would blow what kind of engine could replace it.. thanks for your help

The NIssan SR20DE motor is near bullet proof if it is properly cared for. If it dies, it is easy enough to head over to the sr20forum.com website and find another SR20DE engine for it. However, you can also fit the turbo version called the SR20DET or there is a later model non turbo motor called the SR20VE. Both transplants are easily installed and can make the little NX a rocket

will any of the sr20de engines fit in the nx or just certain years. and what should i look for before i buy anything that goes bad that i should have checked out on the car. someone said something about the a arm or something thanks guys and about what should i pay for this car body looks real nice thanks

From 1991 to 1995 from any of the FWD(front wheel drive) SR20's

Check the engine mounts are not worn, the suspension is good and importantly, that the clutch is not making any noises.

sr20de engines fit in the nx as well as the nissan 280zx radiator.

Bloody idiots. The 280ZX radiator does not fit the FWD NX engine bay at all. The tank outlet points are wrong and the mounting points are different... Sure looks like youknow your stuff
