ECU Differences from 90-94, the thread!

I would like a definate answer or what can, and can not be used between the 90-94 DSMs. I know their is a difference in ECUs and harnesses in eather 90-91 vehicles, or 91-92 vehicles. I have a 90 with a dead ECU (smells like rotten eggs, and poo all under a capacitor).

all 1.8 and 2.0 Non-turbo ecu's can be used in all 1g cars its only the TURBO dsm's ECU's that you can't use.

I'm pretty sure that is correct for the 1.8's...

But for me to add to this info some more here. The 90 turbos ran a different ecu than 91-94 turbos did... Just in case somebody actually searches for this in the future.
