thinking of changing brakes
well the brake pads in my 98 bravada have been pretty worn out.i would have to push down hard on the brake pedal.so im thinking of chaning the pads.but my question is,would it be easy for a newbie?

It's no more difficult than other brakes. I do recommend you buy a manual at the autoparts store to get you up to speed so you can approach the job better informed. Manuals generally make good reading anyway.

disc brakes are pretty simple to replace. you don't have to buy a manual, Autozone has it online for free. here's the link:
