Anyone care to venture a guess/perdiction as to what kinda ET and HP gains I'll see from cutting off my cat and replacing it w/ 2.5" pipe?

Not much at all, it's more of a sound differenece.

Granted you more than likely will pick up a hp or 2 but nothing you will be able to feel.

Cuda_dude's right. Today's cats have hardly any restriction at all - this has been the case since the 80s. The days of the beaded restrictor are long gone.

Re: Cat Delete Gains?

I gained MPG on mine, and if you do it properly you should also pick up. I'd bet you don't have a tune 6? If so, they didn't sufficiently delete COT protection.... this basically dumps in extra, unnecessary fuel at WOT purely for the sake of savign the cat, because lean conditions kill cats.

Re: Cat Delete Gains?

ok, had to say, there was def more power there, but the rear radials are shot, so i was still running 13.7's....trap speed was consistantly 101-102mph, where it's typically 98-99mph though....jury's still out.
