Firestone makes new effort to reclaim bad tires
Fresh steps are being taken to recover possibly faulty Firestone tires that were missed in massive recalls in 2000 and 2001. The recalled tires have been linked to more than 200 fatal crashes, mostly of Ford Explorer SUVs.
