intake control motor?
does anyone know where the air intake control motor is? i know that isnt the right name for it either but its close...but if anyone can tell me where that is id appreciate it, thanks.

I am assuming this is a '97 - '03 Grand Prix. What problem are you having?
Are you referring the idle air controller (IAC) or the throttle position sensor (TPS). Both are located on the throttle body on the 3800 and 3.1L engines. Also, you have an IAT which is a intake air temperature sensor located on the rubber ducting before the input of the throttle body.

yeah thats it, im having problems when i start my car with my intake sucking in a TON of air and my rpms jump up and down, sometimes it stalls out but a couple of guys at murrays told me this may be my problem.

That sounds like the IAC motor/valve that bnaylor mentioned.
