Re: hardtop

What do you mean by that. If anyone makes a conversion from t-tops to a hard top? If so, then the only way to go by doing that would be to cut the top off of a donor car and transplant it to yours. It would include from the base of the front window, and the base of the side pillars. You would have to cut that whole area off of a donor car and yours, then transplant the two. Why would you want to go from a t-top to a hard top anyway, most of the time it's vice versa.

Re: hardtop

Ah, gotcha. But I've never heard nor seen any company make a retractable hard top for the Firebirds and Camaros

Re: hardtop

With the bulky back glass of a firebird it might be difficult to come up with somthing like that. But what you can probably do is have a fiberglass shop fit somthing up to it or even fabricate it from scratch. Maybe some hard top convertable vette parts is exactly what you need. Check this out.

This is a kit sombody put on a third gen. Now if you could find one of these for a fourth gen you might be able to modify it into what you need, and at the same time make enough room to hide the works of a vette style or similar retractable hard top.
